The Question & Answer About turbotax
I may be mistaken, but usually Turbotax doesn’t ask me to purchase/file a state tax return. I’ve used Turbotax for years to file my taxes. Am I missing something? There is no state income tax in Florida, unless that changed recently. Any other idea why it would tell me that (glitch)?
Nope, I don’t own a business. I’m claiming the first-time home buyer tax credit. That’s really the only thing different this year.

A DHS memo obtained by Fox News suggested strong suspicion linking Jared Loughner, the man accused in the Tucson shooting on Saturday, to what it called an “anti-ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government) and anti-semitic” group known as American Renaissance.

Jared Taylor called DHS’ views “scurrilous” and took especial issue with the reference to his group being “anti-ZOG.”
We have never thought in those terms. Taylor, who earned a BA in philosophy from Yale in 1973 and a master’s degree in international economics from the prestigious Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (“Paris Institute of Political Studies,” in English) in 1978, says he had never heard of Loughner until yesterday. Taylor says he checked his organization’s records going back twenty years and Loughner never subscribed to AmRen’s publications.

“I am familiar with the group American Renaissance and from everything I understand, it is NOT “anti-government” nor is it anti-Semitic. In fact, it is a distinctly high-brow organization that includes the participation of many doctors, lawyers, scientists and other professionals, many of whom are Jewish themselves.

Their main topics of discussion are mainly race and immigration, two very mainstream topics nowadays. The founder Jared Taylor is a Yale educated man who speaks several languages and was once the Editor of PC Magazine. He is a very intelligent, well spoken person and has appeared on The Donahue Show, CNN and, I believe, Fox News as a guest political commentator.

I have read the American Renaissance website and I found absolutely nothing anti-government or anti-semitic about their views. Fox News needs to vet their information a little more carefully before releasing these kind of inflammatory accusations. ”
