any way i can restore with an old bootrom?
im jailbroken but cant downgrade basebands [ones compatible with ultrasn0w] because my bootrom is 06.04.
i have a 3g, os4.0.1 with newer baseband but stupid bootrom is 06.04 . any way at all to restore with old bootrom ??

i already have the ipod 4.0 restore ipsw but when i browse for the file it says ipsw not supported. i tried even in redsn0w but it says the same. help please
i did all the steps required from the video for my ipod 2nd gen and whenever i Shift-restore and i chose the file that snowbreezed “cooked” it keeps on saying extracing file. dose that mean it is working or am i doing something wrong?

I live in Kosovo, i updated my Iphone 3gs mc model, from Itunes with ios4.01 and at the end my iphone is activated from Itunes i just had iphone is activated on iphone screen…and i didn’t use any jailbrake, and my carrier is Z-Mobile in Kosovo…. !?!?

@rj985 Nope, When you are jailbroken once, then you don’t need to jailbreak again. Then simply install “Ultrasn0w” from Cydia and you will be unlocked.

I don’t understand the old bootrom -vs- new bootrom. Can you be more specific about what that is. I have a iPhone 3GS version 4.0 firmware 5.13.04 Is there anything there that indicated the old or new bootrom? Thanks for your help.
