What is better, Samsung Captivate or Apple iPhone 4?

I don’t really care about your opinion so don’t just say one phone or another, back it up please. I am looking for more of the pros and cons of each phone and which one you would choose and why. Thanks

Samsung Captivate because Korea makes the best cell phones ever and is the best in the world.
iphone 4. its perfect except you cant hold it a certain way because it wont have a signal. i <3 apple ALOT! my dad just ordered the ipad and hes gonna get the ipone 4 in august
I am an iPhone 4 owner, and i love it. It has FaceTime, which is video chat with your contacts, a 5 megapixel camera, high quality video recording and editing, it has a camera in the front and back so it makes it easier to take pictures and videos, it has a retina display, which is the best display ever since the human eye cant see nothing but perfection in it, the phone is smaller, it has a bigger battery inside so it lasts MUCH more than most phones, it has a lot of features, more than this. It costs 300$ with the contract, and with the two year contract, and tax it makes 400$. Without the contract, it costs 700$.

I am sittig outside BestBuy right now waiting for it to open to look at the Captivate. I am fed up with apple and the crippling software. I watched to Captivate and iPhone 4 go head to head and the Captivate had the web page loaded almost 75 seconds faster, typical apple to freeze up while loading. Also, in just a couple weeks, samsung will be updating to 2.2 which includes Flash!!!!!

I think the Samsung Captivate is better because
-it looks better, for me at least
-it has android which is WAY more customizable than the iphone
-android is open-source and the iphone isn’t
-slim, iphone is kinda, chubby…
-No flash, YET
-it has Super AMOLED which looks better than the retina display
-it has widgets unlike iphone with just icons
-it has some other stuff too that im too lazy too write
BUT
unfortunately it has no flash and no front camera, but oh well.
Iphone 4 has
-OK multitasking (IT’s not REALLY multitasking for me)
-A LOT A LOT of apps and sadly android doesn’t have too many ];
-better battery
-NO FLASH >:O
and the i HATE about apple is that they do WAY too much updates, like new iphone every 1-2 years? O.o
-and again there’s more things, just too lazy too write it all

Iphone is for fun and games, (I LOVE THE APPS), great for music, for anybody who is new too phone because it’s so simple but powerful. In my lifetime, i’ve seen more people withIphones than android phone. This is for people who loves apps, i just think this is kinda basic, but a lot of fun.
and the Samsung is kinda more like a mini PC, i would say, i think this is great for anybody too, but doesn’t have as much apps as iphone, so be aware of that, this is idk, for anybody. Anybody can get this phone and have a lot of fun with it.
I loved both of them but i would chose the Samsung Captivate. Right now i have none of them,but my girlfriend has the Samsung, and my friend has the iphone4. I have the HTC Hero and I love it.
